Flightdeck and its components
The original code written for this website is proprietary and is not offered under an open-source license. Ordinary browser use is permitted. Other uses are governed by the linked rights notice and mandatory statutory rights. Permission enquiries can be sent to hallo@nenaj.at.
The separate Flightdeck launcher, its interface and integration scripts use the MIT License. The applicable license texts and copyright notices are included with its source.
MIT does not replace the licenses of compatibility components: Xodus uses GPL-3.0-only; Wine-based components and new native compatibility files use LGPL-2.1-or-later unless separately identified. Other libraries retain their own license terms.
Release packages include their license notices. Published native binary packages have corresponding source archives. When redistributing or modifying components, follow their respective licenses.

Manrope is served locally under the SIL Open Font License 1.1. Its complete license is linked below.
The aircraft and mountain scenes are original AI-generated illustrations, not Microsoft Flight Simulator screenshots or evidence of in-game image quality or performance. The Flightdeck mark is a static SVG. Marks and panorama artwork reused from the launcher retain their MIT terms to the extent copyright applies. Previously granted license rights remain unaffected. The origins and edits of the hero illustration and mark are documented.

Microsoft, Microsoft Flight Simulator, Windows and Xbox are trademarks of the Microsoft group of companies. Other product and company names belong to their respective owners.
Flightdeck is an independent project. It is not published, endorsed or supported by Microsoft, Xbox or Asobo. Product names describe the intended compatibility only.
The open-source licenses grant no rights to the game, proprietary game content or third-party trademarks. You need your own valid license for the supported Xbox PC edition.
Experimental status
Compatibility through Wine/Proton is experimental. Not every device, add-on or online feature will work reliably. Back up important local saves before making changes.
Warranty and liability provisions in the respective software licenses apply only to the extent permitted by law. Mandatory statutory rights remain unaffected.
